Welcome! My name is Shannyn de Blaauw. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and have been living with my partner and our cat, Delilah, in the East Bay for the past 12 years. As a founder, SPACE Organizing is a way for me to bring together my love of helping others, as a nurse, and my years of experience in organizing. I have been using and developing the methods and tools we will use together since I was a child. What makes me unique is my ability to firmly guide the process while holding my clients’ needs and concerns with compassion and without judgment. Throughout my years in nursing, I have nurtured my inherent bedside manner with a balance of empathy, discretion and guidance. This reflects in my organizing through my gentle approach and keen ability to find the core of a problem and the solutions that work for the client. Because if it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work at all.

SPACE Organizing provides Strategically Planned and Customized Environments just for you. I organize your surroundings with intention and create individualized systems distinctive to you. I then teach you how to maintain those systems on your own!  What makes me unique is that I identify your core needs and blocks around maintaining some sense of order in your environment and then use that information throughout the process.

I work with a diverse population with a multitude of different needs and therefore there is no one size fits all. I am not going to force you to do my method, I am going to customize my method to fit your personal and unique needs.
